Cadettes and Seniors from troops 41220 and 40218 earned the 2018 Global Action and World Thinking Day awards at a recent meeting. They explored the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals through activities from the WAGGS World Thinking Day 2018 Activity Pack, and collected coins for the Juliette Low World Friendship Fund. Locally, they are making an IMPACT this year by organizing a supply drive for Pets Come First during the Service Unit’s annual skating party and donating cookies and supplies to Stormbreak girls’ shelter.
State College Girl Scouts Service Unit 416 will celebrate World Thinking Day with a country expo after cookie season, on April 27.
