Uniform Class A

State College Girl Scouts is going to Savannah, GA in June 2019!

All girls who will be Cadettes, Seniors, or Ambassadors (6th grade and up for the 2019-2020 school year) are eligible for the trip.  This is a Service Unit level travel experience and girls do not need to travel with their troop or with a parent. All adult attendees will be GSHPA registered and cleared volunteers, many of whom have chaperoned similar trips in the past.

Adults who are registered Girl Scouts and have all of their clearances are also able to attend. Adults who attend should understand that they will have responsibilities including but not limited to chaperoning groups at tourist sites, while walking around the city, and during free time.   We need enough adults to meet ratios as a whole group and for multiple smaller groups for touring purposes.

A non-refundable deposit of $100/person is due by June 1, 2018, along with a signed  Financial Contract and a Code of Conduct. The first 50 people to register and make their deposit will get spots, so don’t delay. Registration will open May 6th at 7:00 p.m. and continue until full. We will be doing fundraising to help defray the cost of the trip. If you need financial assistance please contact the Activities Planning Committee.

  1. Heather/Jeannie~

I just made the deposits for Emma, Sidney and myself = $300. I forwarded Heather’s email to Sonya Downing and Joy Clester so that they too could make their deposits before 6/1/18. I wasn’t sure if you had sent them each individual emails about the trip and deposits requirements?

Thanks again for coordinating this opportunity!

    1. The email goes to you, I don’t think it goes to others on your roster, so thanks for sharing that info with them. I don’t want anyone to get dropped for non-payment when they fully intend to pay.
