Attention, all Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts!
Service Unit 431 is hosting an “Out of This World” day camp beginning on Monday, July 29, and ending Thursday, August 1.
Each day from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. we will have activities that are all space-related including making bottle rockets and launching them, creating robots from tin cans, learning about constellations, and much more.
If the weather cooperates, Raytheon will help us launch a weather balloon so that the girls can take home their very own space photos.
Of course, canoeing will be part of this.
Parents must provide transportation, and girls should have a packed lunch and reusable water bottle each day.
Cost for this event is $60 for the full week (4 days) or $40 for a half week.
This event is eligible for Outdoor Experiences FA through GSHPA. Girls are eligible to apply for Financial Assistance for SU Day Camp and Outdoor Experiences by filling out this form.
All registered Girl Scout Brownies and Juniors are eligible to attend this drop off event. All girls must have a competed health/permission form.
If you have questions or are interested in volunteering at this event, please contact Sharon Bloom directly at email@example.com.
42 spaces are available for this event.
*If this is your first time registering directly for a State College Girl Scouts event, you will need to create an account.
